What I wore- black wrap midi dress!

Last night I had a very lovely meal in the beautiful Belleek Castle, I love going there so much I never want to go home! I wanted a relatively simple and sophisticated look so I chose a black wrap midi dress which I bought on ASOS a while ago and never wore. The only thing about this dress is the plunge neckline is RIDICULOUS. It's waay to low for me so I did a (bad) sewing job to it to make it more comfortable. To camouflage the navy thread and quite sloppy handwork I put a waist belt around it! I wore it with black barely there sandals (from penneys) & my mums gorgeous leopard print jacket which I love so much. The dress is now on sale & here's the link! You might be brave enough for the plunge- if not, get the needle and thread out!

I think this is the shortest post I've ever written....

Happy Easter to everyone. :)

Into the West blogger Network-the first rendezvous..

Last Saturday was a big day for me. Since starting this blog a mere seven months ago I have longed to attend my first official blogging event and meet other bloggers. I received an email from the lovely Deirdre Cribbin of Deeva Make Up asking me if I would like to attend the ITWBN event to which I very quickly agreed to attend! I then got in touch with Sinead of Yummy Mummy Fashion &Lifestyle who gave us all the details.. Afternoon tea in the G Hotel?! I was bouncing with excitement for a full two weeks! I changed my mind a million times on what I would wear and in the end I stayed as true to myself as I could- a die hard wannabe Princess. So I sashayed past disproving looks from my father and ignored strange looks from the other bus-goers at Bus Eireann and headed up to one of my favourite places in the world- Galway. The G Hotel is INCREDIBLE, it was my first time there and I was completely blown away. The service was completely faultless & the food was out of this world. I didn't want to leave!

The afternoon was so lovely, I met the nicest & funniest bunch of girls (and two men), we all hit it off so well it was like we knew each other for years. We exchanged tips, talked about our blogs and just basically had a laugh in beautiful surroundings! A huge thank you has to be said to Cara Pharmacy &The Publicity Loft for the AMAZING goodie bags we received which were bursting with products that I am dying to try! We were all blown away by their generosity so thank you again.

Now on to my OUTFIT -sorry of you've had to scroll this far to see this-

If you have been reading my posts you'll know by now that I love anything girlie, tulle or anything Blair Waldorf/Carrie Bradshaw inspired! I saw this skirt on eBay &fell in love with it, I've worn it before to my cousin's christening:

It comes from Hong Kong so be prepared to wait about 4 weeks for delivery. It comes in one size but it's quite stretchy! It also comes in lots of different colours. If this one sells out just click 'view more like this' and lots more will come up, just make sure the seller has at least 97% positive feedback & read the description carefully. Here's the link:

I teamed the skirt with my Topshop silver holographic Gwenda Heels which I have worn to death, a Topshop shirt, Penney's jumper, Zara Chain & a River Island hairband (which I bought because it looks like a tiara).

Here are some pictures of the day taken by Claire Jameson of Justified by Jemo, & Danielle of Sweet Memories Photography- thank you ladies, the pictures are gorgeous!

I would just like to say a HUGE thank you to Cara Pharmacy, the Publicity Loft, The G Hotel, Philip from #TheGalwayHour for popping in for a chat, and of course the notorious GALWAY PLAYER who had us all totally intrigued... Turns out he is a complete gentleman who may have asked me out on a date... Will I be the girl to tame him?! :p Stay tuned!

I would now like to extend a massive thank you to Sinead Carroll of Yummy Mummy fashion Lifestyle Blog who is the brains (and beauty) behind the Into the West Blogger Network which is a fantastic, friendly & welcoming platform for all of us west of Ireland bloggers! Thank you Sinead for organising such a great day, I can't wait for the next one!

This is the part where I get all cheesy about my new friends.

But I really did meet some incredibly talented, kind, beautiful & hilarious ladies who I know will grow to be great friends of mine. (Cheeeeeese) Here's a list of all the bloggers on the day, I suggest you find their twitter, Facebook ,Instagram & stalk the crap out of them because their blogs are brilliant. That's all for now, if you're new to my blog, I do this whole rambling thing alot...sorry! I just had alot to say!

Going green...

Hello! I am composing this in the height of style wearing zebra print pj bottoms & an old knitted jumper, with no make up & messy flat hair- I thought I'd spare you the pictures! So, last night we had a lovely staff night for a colleague of ours who is leaving our team after getting another job, a great night but sad all the same! I'll miss you Aine, but can't wait for our night out in Westport to find husbands! :p ANYWAY I wore a playsuit from Topshop which I am IN LOVE with. The texture, the colour & style are what drew me to it the day I bought it. I was lucky enough to get it on sale for only €35 and in my size! It's quite stiff satin & the neck is quite high, it's different to anything I own and I loved wearing it so much! I paired it with a gorgeous blazer I snapped up at Christmas in the River Island Sale for half price. Shoes are the Topshop ones I've worn practically every night since buying them, I just love them so much and they're so comfortable! The bag is a big favourite of mine, it was kindly given to me by one of my style icons-my mum- she bought it in Gerry McGuire's (see where I get it from?) 20years ago it still looks good as new! Ok, enough of me talking here are some pics....

I also dyed my extensions & cut them to give my hair a little length & volume-I loved how it turned out! I feel so much more me with longer hair! :(

Any questions or comments just comment underneath, or send any queries to elishapolly@gmail.com I'd love to hear feedback! Or if you just want to tell me to shut up, that's cool too. Happy Sunday from a very weary Elisha,

Peace outttt

Xo :) xo
